Ground Support Equipment Shop LGA As a staff augmentation to American Airlines, I managed the design and construction of a new Ground Support Equipment shop for American Airlines. The project required the construction of a new GSE facility inside the enclosure of an eighty year old hangar. The LGA Central Terminal program required completion of the 28,000 square foot facility in 8 months from start of design to occupation. The services provided on the project included:
JFK Terminal 8 Expansion As the preconstruction construction manager, I lead the team responsible for the preconstruction planning for the 100k square foot expansion and 200k square foot renovation of the facility. The program require work to be done in multiple phases and include extensive civil work. To accomplish the planning, we created the program phasing schedule and cost model in parallel to accelerate the process. The services provided on the project included:
Polaris Lounge EWR As a staff augmentation to United Airlines, I managed the design and construction of new Polaris Class Lounge at Newark Liberty Int’l Airport. This 30,000 square foot lounge required the demolition of multiple adjacent separate spaces and the construction of a new first-class lounge including full service kitchen, dining area, bar and restrooms. The services provided on the project included:
Etihad Lounge JFK As the construction manager for Etihad Airways, I managed the construction of a prototype lounge for Etihad at JFK Int’l Airport. This 9,000 square foot lounge required extensive coordination for the acquisition of an extensive selection of bespoke features and finishes all while maintain a very prescribed budget. The final product includes a full service kitchen, dining area, bar and restrooms and a dedicated “resident class” space. The services provided on the project included:
JFK Terminal 1 Expansion As the lead estimator for the program, managed the preparation of the estimates for the 750k square foot expansion of JFK terminal 1 and provided cost modeling associated with the value engineering process to bring the program into budget The services provided on the project included:
Central Terminal Program LGA As the lead estimator for the program, managed the preparation of the estimates for the 1 million square foot construction of LaGuardia Central Terminal. The 145 construction phase project, 3.5 billion program required distribution of work over three separate procurement approaches. The services provided on the project included:
IAH Terminal E In Line Baggage System As the Construction Site Manager, provided on site construction management for the Houston Airport System installation of a 4 Explosive Detection System in line baggage screening matrix at the newly constructed Terminal E at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
